2019 GTA Charity Golf Tournament

Tournament Exceeds Expectations, Thanks to You (Oct. 18, 2019)
Thanks everyone for your support.  This year's tournament was a huge success, and we want to thank the sponsors and the players for making it a really special day.  We're still finalizing the numbers, but this year's event raised approximately $35,000 for the State Charitable Contributions Program.

Golf with us on Columbus Day, October 14, 2019.

Join us when the Georgia Technology Authority, its partner organizations and friends come together for the eighth annual GTA State Charitable Contributions Golf Tournament. All proceeds benefit the State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP), which funnels support to hundreds of charitable organizations providing services in communities all across Georgia.

You may register teams of two, three or four people, or enter as an individual and then be paired with some new golfing buddies at the tournament. 

• Registration fee is $85 per player.
  This year, the registration fee includes mulligans and putting strings (player aids) that in previous years were paid for separately.

Our tournament will again be at the Lakemont Course at Stone Mountain Golf Club in beautiful Stone Mountain Park. Tournament golfers receive complimentary entrance to Stone Mountain Park, so there's no need to buy a park pass if you don't already have one.

Inside the Tournament

• Scramble format.  Use the Rules - Scramble link on the Menu button at the top right corner of this page.
• Tournament will be played rain or shine.
• Registration fee includes: 18 Holes of Golf, Cart, Driving Range, and Lunch.  New for this year, lunch will be a buffet after the tournament and drinks on the drink cart will also be included at no cost.
• Scoring will be done electronically using a simple scoring app downloaded to your phone.
• Awards ceremony and the buffet lunch will be held inside the clubhouse at 1:30 p.m.  Prizes will be awarded for: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, Longest Drive and Closest-to-Pin competitions. 
• Players can only receive a maximum of one team award and one individual award.
• Mulligans and putting strings are included in the registration fee. (New this year.)
• "Beat the Pro" will give each team a chance to score a 1 on a Par 3 by beating the Pro's tee shot, or else use the Pro's shot instead of their own. (New this year.)
• Golf attire is required on the course.
• All players must be at least 12 years of age.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Affordable sponsorship opportunities are available for corporations and individuals.  Sponsors help make a successful event by contributing prizes and increasing the total money raised for charity.
