We are pleased to remind you that the Burns Society of New York City will host its annual Robert Ludlow Maclean Memorial Golf Tournament at the Rockaway Hunting Club on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

EVENT REGISTRATION

To facilitate event registrations, player pairing preferences and communications, we’re again utilizing Event Caddy! Please go online, register for the event. You can register your guests online and/or share this registration link with them directly: Burns 2022 Golf Registration

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Rockaway's driving range and practice areas will be open and players may check-in as early as 10:30am. A buffet lunch will be served at 11:30 and a shotgun start will follow at 12:30pm. The prize ceremony commences following golf, at approximately 5:30pm, where cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner will be served. As ever, the haggis will be piped in by Burns Society Piper, Larry Cole, and special guest star will recite Robert Burns' Address to a Haggis.

EVENT DETAILS

Guests and prospective society members are welcome. The golf competition will follow the traditional format of handicapped individual stroke play, with Society members competing for:

· The Colby Cup (individual low gross)

· The Taggart Trophy (individual low net)

· The Oliphant Putter (most putts)

Longest drive and closest to the pin prizes are open to members and guests alike.

The price for the day is $350 per person which includes greens and range fees, golf carts, lunch, on-course snacks and beverages and the cocktails and haggis reception. Forecaddies will be available on request.

Non-golfers: We invite non-golfing members and guests to join us at the club at 5:30pm for collation following the competition. Enjoy cocktails, haggis, and the awards ceremony while being treated to the fine tunes of the Society’s Piper. Club attire requested and highland attire encouraged! The price for collation only is $75.
