This year’s tournament supports two deeply meaningful initiatives:

A Loving Organization (ALO)

A Loving Organization helps healthcare and purpose-driven organizations build systems grounded in compassion, trust, and connection. Through frameworks, learning communities, and reflective programs, we guide leaders and teams to embed love into how they work, strengthening relationships, improving experiences, and fostering healthier, more resilient organizations. We share practical tools, stories, and best practices to make love visible, measurable, and actionable every day.

ALO achieves this mission by convening heart-centered leaders, generating research and thought leadership, and developing the tools, frameworks, and resources necessary to nurture an ecosystem where love truly thrives. They work across healthcare and beyond, helping organizations become places where people are genuinely seen, valued, and cared for.

Owen's Story

Within our own insurance community, a family has been blessed with a beautiful son named Owen — and they have faced challenges that no family should ever face alone.

Owen was born with Mitchell-Riley Syndrome (MRS), one of the rarest genetic conditions in the world, along with severe medical complications including neonatal diabetes and multiple gastrointestinal abnormalities. He is the only known patient in the United States with his specific condition and one of only a handful worldwide. Despite doctors preparing his family for the worst, Owen has defied all odds.

Born five weeks early and weighing just three pounds, Owen spent nearly his entire first year in intensive care and has undergone more than 20 procedures, including multiple major surgeries, with more ahead.

Today, Owen requires constant, around-the-clock care—daily medications, 16-hour nutrition infusions, and continuous monitoring. Even minor illnesses can quickly become life-threatening. Despite everything, Owen’s spirit is extraordinary—his resilience and joy truly make him a miracle.

His care is lifelong and extremely costly, placing a significant financial burden on his family. Proceeds from this tournament will directly support Owen and help ease the ongoing costs of his care.
