The Rotary Club of Edmonton (RCE) is the largest Rotary Club and the oldest Club in Northern Alberta having just celebrated 100 years in 2016. The Club has approximately 140 Members representing a wide variety of vocational activities, holding their business luncheon at noon every Monday at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel.
It is a Club of volunteers that concerns itself primarily with Downtown Edmonton taking on projects that address the needs of the poor, the disadvantaged and urban youth. Our Club’s slogan is `DOWNTOWN WITH A PURPOSE’, and it has real meaning to us.
Why Support Rotary?
With roughly 2,000,000 million Rotarians active worldwide, there are 2200 Rotarians active through 59 Clubs in northern Alberta, 21 of which are in the Greater Edmonton area. Rotarians by definition are business people, active in virtually every vocation and business sector. It’s fair to say, that Rotarians are everywhere, upholding the motto, `Service Above Self’ in all that they do. We believe that the opportunity for brand association offered in this proposal would represent a substantial and valuable asset to any corporation working to create, enhance, embed or articulate a positive corporate image.
