The Calgary Stampede Foundation supports the youth of Alberta by providing dynamic programming to enhance their leadership skills, personal growth, citizenship, and education. We are making our community vibrant and engaging by creating spaces that connect the arts, heritage, and education.

Stampede School is an educational experience for students from grades 1 to 12 that relocates their classroom to the enriching environment of Stampede Park. This Calgary Stampede Foundation program brings learning to life by collaborating with teachers, expert volunteers, and leaders in our community - benefitting over 1,450 students annually.

A Campus Calgary site, Stampede Schools is inquiry-based, innovating, and focused on hands-on experiences. Each class' week-long visit is customized to fit their particular curriculum goals and classroom needs. Here student learn about Indigenous culture and storytelling, ranching and agriculture history, and land stewardship.

They build confidence, social understanding, and a sense of identity within the tapestry of Alberta. These programs ask important questions like "What is your story?" and "What does it mean to be an Albertan in the past, present, and future?" These questions, along with engaging programming, inspire children to learn from the world, develop a strong sense of character and citizenship, and learn the importance of community.
