Daniel's Story:

Born with a rare disease called Proteus Syndrome, Daniel’s parents were told he would not live, and then later would not walk.  Though, through more than 100 surgeries, multiple body casts and constant physical pain, Daniel was a fighter...proving them wrong and living life to its fullest. As a child with physical differences, he was on the swim team and pushed to do everything his older brother and sister did. He graduated from Blessed Sacrament, Benedictine, and attended Savannah College of Art & Design.  He made those around him better people, sometimes unknowingly, teaching us to appreciate life and to accept people for the goodness within them. Daniel was an inspiration to everyone that met him.

The Daniel DeLoach Distance Learning Lab supports the integration of technology & education and is dedicated to Daniel's love of technology. Your participation in the Memorial Golf Tournament helps the DDMF give back to the Blessed Sacrament community, which gave so much to support Daniel, his family & the Proteus Syndrome Foundation.
