NAWIC Scholarships
"The Alaska Chapter of NAWIC is an association of women in the construction industry promoting motivation for growth through education, from which comes satisfaction to foster confidence and strength.
The NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) was established to provide the construction industry with trained employees through financially assisting students in higher education.
NFSF was founded in 1963, is a self-supporting scholarship program, and is a 509(a)(3) designated organization so contributions are tax-deductible as a charitable donation. NFSF has the capability to administer scholarships to college or trade school students for your company or local NAWIC chapter.
The Alaska Chapter utilizes NFSF to administer our scholarships to Alaska students pursuing a degree in the construction industry. To date, the Alaska chapter has awarded over $68,000 to Alaska students."
