Thank you for your support of the 2nd Annual Roosevelt Aurora Golf Outing.  We have struggled, as many have, through the COVID-19 pandemic, as we had our grand opening of our new office space a month before everything was closed.  We kept in contact with our Veterans, checking in with them on Zoom and maintained our space for when we opened.  For about 10 years the Roosevelt Aurora American Legion Post 84 had a partnership with the City of Aurora to jointly host the annual Independence Day parade.  Last year, the City of Aurora terminated our partnership.  Thus, we launced into hosting an annual Golf Outing.  The funds raised from this golf outing is used to help active duty service members, Veterans and their families.  Post 84 has a scholarship program, works with the food pantries to help distribute food to our Veterans, participate in annual events that honor of Veterans and much more.  We were able to afford our rent for our office space, and recently have partnered with the Kane County Veterans Assistance Commission to provide services.  We cannot continue without your help.  Please consider becoming a sponsor (they are listed under the registration tab) and help us to continue to provide assistance to the Aurora area Veterans.
