The Yellowbird Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of the Premiere Travel Industry Golf Tournament in 2025!
We invite you to take part in the Yellowbird Foundation Annual Charity Golf Classic, which will take place on Friday May 30th, 2025, at the prestigious Glen Abbey Golf & Country Club in Oakville, Ontario. Designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, this exceptional course has proudly hosted the RBC Canadian Open and Canada’s National Open Championship 28 times.
This year, we aim to raise $150,000 to provide much-needed aid to communities in need. Your support will directly impact the lives of countless individuals and help us continue our mission to bring hope and opportunity to children and families in underprivileged areas.
The Yellowbird Foundation was founded almost two decades ago by members of the Canadian travel industry who recognized that the idyllic beach destinations and fantastic holiday spots we visit often mask the struggles of local communities.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to:
This year’s fundraising efforts will focus on Egypt — a truly magical land and an awe-inspiring holiday destination that is currently facing extreme economic hardship.
Tourism to Egypt has declined due to ongoing regional instability, while the value of the Egyptian pound has depreciated by 200%, and the price of bread has surged by 300%. These challenges are pushing already poverty-stricken communities to the breaking point in a country where 60% of the population lives below the poverty line.
The YellowBird Foundation has identified an opportunity to support local early learning initiatives, providing assistance to children from families who cannot afford school fees.
Your support can make a meaningful difference in their future.
