The Problem
Columbus’ inner-city neighborhoods are under-resourced and over-burdened.
Families living in these communities face higher rates of unemployment, lower graduation rates and limited opportunities. The stressors caused by poverty can make progress seem impossible, inhibiting individuals from reaching their full potential.
Our Approach:
To positively impact our community, we must create access and opportunities that drive the growth and future of its people.
Godman Guild’s programs build pathways out of poverty for individuals of all ages. By focusing our work across generations and in the inner-city neighborhoods of Columbus, we can move families forward and create a stronger community for all of us.
Focus Areas
Focus Neighborhoods
Godman Guild programs serve residents living across Franklin County. Our main campus is located in Weinland Park and we have satellite locations offering Adult Education programs throughout inner-city Columbus.
Through a steadfast commitment to empowering each individual living in our inner-city neighborhoods, we can help Columbus reach its full potential.
