1^st Annual Marcus Brown Memorial Golf Classic

On Wednesday March 21, 2018 at the age of 31, our brother, Marcus Brown gained his angel wings. Marcus was known for having a welcoming spirit, and would always open his arms or doors to anyone in need. He was the type of man that would meet someone new, and after only a few minutes, he’d be willing to give them the shirt off of his own back. Marcus truly enjoyed life, and loved spending time with his wonderful family and friends.

Marcus presence in one's life was not bound by time, wether a liferime or brief encounter, he brought joy to any room and a smile to any face. Marcus had a spirit that will forever live in and through the people who surrounded him. Marcus leaves to treasure his memory, his wife Briana Brown, his daughter Nahliyah Brown, his parents Lisa Devers, and Donald and Antoinette Brown. He also leaves his siblings DePrince Cardenas, John Britton, Antonio Brown, Autumn Daniels, Chesyti Brown, Shanice Brown, Doncel Brown, Cameron Brown and Aniyah Brown.

May we never bid "farewell," but only "see you later" to a beautiful soul that God called home.

In honor of Marcus’ life, we are excited to announce the

1st Annual Marcus Brown Memorial Golf Classic.

Proceeds from the tournament will support the Brown family.

The Marcus Brown Memorial Golf Classic will be a four-person golf scramble. However, in honor of Marcus’ spirit of fellowship and fun, this golf tournament is open to all genders and skill levels. If you do not own a set of golf clubs, we can make arrangements to provide rental golf clubs for your use at this golf tournament along with a free golf lesson before the start of the event. We are looking to honor Marcus welcoming spirit for this event by giving anyone that has wanted to try golf an opportunity to learn, play, and fellowship for a good cause.
