The Kiwanis Club of Hoover-Metro is pleased to announce our largest charity event of the year, our 26th Annual Charity Golf Classic to be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Riverchase Country Club.  This event is widely acclaimed as a premier tournament, and there is tremendous participation from businesses throughout Birmingham and surrounding counties.

The Kiwanis Club of Hoover-Metro is a 501(c)4 social welfare organization and 100% of our net proceeds go to our sponsored charities—including, but not limited to, the SafeHouse of Shelby County, a shelter and education facility for women and children that are victims of domestic violence and abuse; the Hope for Autumn Foundation, which provides financial support for families with children with cancer; Adaptive Aquatics, which provides water sports and training for disabled individuals; Restoration Academy, a school that educates low income children; Children’s Hospital; Smile-A-Mile, a support group for children with cancer and their families; Hoover Helps, providing food for needy students; and two college scholarships for local high school students.

• Round of 18 holes including green fees and cart fees

• Gift bag for each player

• Complimentary lunch

• Eligibility for tournament prizes: “Closest to the Pin” “Longest Drive” “Hole in One” - Several hole opportunitites for prizes including a $10,000 prize on Hole #15.

There are several ways to participate in this charity event.  The information below outlines the various levels of team participation. However, there are also several levels of corporate sponsorship available. These provide an extraordinary way for your company to partner with us to benefit these wonderful charities:

• Banner Sponsor: This is our highest partnership and benefits level with the largest media exposure before, during, and after the tournament (plus golf for 12)! We are limiting this level to four corporate sponsors. The total contribution is $2,500.00. For this contribution, you will receive:
  1. Three teams of four golfers each for the tournament;
  2. Tournament day recognition consisting of verbal recognition as well as the opportunity to submit your company logo and/or photos for use in a PowerPoint presentation to run during the lunch break;
  3. The opportunity to bring and assemble a promotional tent on one of the holes during the tournament, as well as provide personnel and signage;
  4. Your company name and logo on promotional materials such as press releases and the Kiwanis website and Facebook page;
  5. Your company name and logo on the tournament banner; and
  6. A free one-year membership to our Kiwanis club (a $500 value plus free breakfast at every weekly meeting)!

• Gold Sponsor: Maximize your tournament day publicity while supporting our club’s charities and enjoying a great day of golf! The contribution for this level is $1,750.00. For this contribution, you will receive:
  1. Two teams of four golfers each for the tournament;
  2. Tournament day recognition consisting of verbal recognition during the pre-tournament briefing and your company name and logo on tournament day signage; and
  3. The opportunity to bring and assemble a promotional tent on one of the holes during the tournament, as well as personnel and signage.

• Silver Sponsor: A great opportunity to support our club’s charities, promote your company, and enjoy a great day of golf! The contribution for this level is $850.00. For this contribution, you will receive:
  1. One team of four golfers for the tournament;
  2. Tournament day recognition consisting of verbal recognition during the pre-tournament briefing and your company name and logo on tournament day signage; and
  3. Signage on one of the holes during the tournament with your company name and logo.

• Hole Sponsorship: This option allows you to support our club’s charities by choosing the price and benefit level best suited for your company. The contribution for this level ranges from $250.00 to $1,000.00. For this contribution, you will receive:
  1. For $1,000.00, you will have the opportunity to bring and assemble a promotional tent on one of the holes during the tournament, as well as provide personnel and signage;
  2. For $500, you can be one of our luncheon sponsors, with signage in the dining room during lunch and a meet and greet opportunity with the golfers; or
  3. For $250, you will receive signage on one of the holes during the tournament with your company name and logo.
