2024 AFC Lightning Golf Tournament

The 2024 AFC Lightning Golf tournament will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Braelinn Golf Club!

Participation Prizes

All golfers will receive a gift from AFC Lightning as a thank you for participating in this event.

Entry Fee

The early bird entry fees are $475 per foursome or $130 per single before April 5th, 2024.

After April 5th, 2024, $575 per foursome or $155 per single.

The entry fee includes:

• Green fees, Cart, Range balls
   
• Box lunches are provided and a post-tournament buffet at closing ceremonies.
   
• Gift from AFC Lightning

Sponsorship Opportunities

Exclusive Naming Rights Sponsor is $4,000 - Includes exclusive naming rights for Golf Tournament (only one for this type of sponsorship), entry fee for one foursome, sponsorship for two holes, sponsorship on beverage cart, and sponsorship of putting contest. Artwork required for signage.

19th Hole Closing Event Buffet Sponsor is $3,000 - Only one 19th Hole Sponsor available.  Includes Company Logo on all event communications and promotion, entry fees for ONE foursome, Sponsorship Sign for ONE hole, Sponsorship table at ONE hole, Sponsorship sign on beverage cart or putting contest, Sponsorship Banner in Buffet area. Artwork required for signage.

Lunch Box Sponsor is $2,000 - Only one Lunch Box Sponsor available.  Includes Company Logo on all event communications and promotion, entry fees for ONE foursome, Sponsorship Sign for ONE hole, Sponsorship table at ONE hole, Sponsorship Name on beverage cart, Sponsorship sign at putting contest. Artwork required for signage.

Breakfast Sponsor is $1,000 -  Thank you Gutter Perfection Inc. - Only one Breakfast Sponsor available.  Includes Company Logo on all event communications and promotion, entry fees for ONE foursome, Sponsorship Sign for ONE hole, Sponsorship table at ONE hole, Sponsorship sign at putting contest, Sponsorship Banner in Breakfast area. Gold Level Sponsor is $1,050 - Includes entry fee for one foursome, sponsorship for two holes, sponsorship on beverage cart or sponsorship of putting contest. Artwork required for signage.

Silver Level Sponsor is $900 - Includes entry fee for one foursome, sponsorship sign for one hole, and sponsorship sign on beverage cart or putting contest. Artwork required for signage.

Bronze Level Sponsor is $800 - Includes entry fee for one foursome and sponsorship for one hole. Artwork required for signage.

Corporate Level Sponsor is $350 - Includes sponsorship by a business for one hole.  Artwork required for signage.  Please email Jeff Timmers at jeff@afclightning.org regarding this option.

Family Level Sponsor is $75 - Includes sponsorship sign by a family!

Format

Four player scramble (Fort Lauderdale) format.  The tournament is open to anyone who would like to participate.  If you do not have a complete foursome we will be more than happy to pair you with others who sign up individually.

Rules

1. 4- person scramble.  Each player hits a tee shot on every hole.  The team will select the best shot and everyone will play from this location.  You will mark your location with a tee, and you are allowed to move the golf ball one club length in any direction as long as you are no closer to the hole.  You have to keep the golf ball in the same condition (if you are in the rough, you remain in the rough).  This format is continued until you complete the hole. 
2. Tees:
   • Men - White Tees
   • Women - Gold Tees
3. Bogey Max.  Please pick up and move to next hole if you have reached bogey for the team score.

Contests

Throughout the event there are several contests you may wish to participate.  They include:  longest drive, closest to the pin, big cup hole(s), plus more.

More information on contests will be provided at event registration on May 3rd.
