2025 AFC Lightning Golf Tournament

The 2025 AFC Lightning Golf tournament will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Braelinn Golf Club!


Thank you for your interest in the 2025 AFC Lightning Golf Tournament.  All proceeds from the event go to the AFC Lightning Legacy Initiative.  This initiative expands and increase financial aid, provides travel assistance, increases outreach for financial assistance and aids in broadening the talent pool. 



• Entry Fee
• $625 per foursome or $175 per single.
• Early bird  - $525 per foursome or $150 per single before April 2nd, 2025.
  • The entry fee includes:
    
    • Green fees, Cart, Range balls
    • Box lunches are provided
    • Gift from AFC Lightning

Event Format



Four player scramble (Fort Lauderdale) format.  The tournament is open to anyone who would like to participate.  If you do not have a complete foursome we will be more than happy to pair you with others who sign up individually.

Rules

1. 4- person scramble.  Each player hits a tee shot on every hole.  The team will select the best shot and everyone will play from this location.  You will mark your location with a tee, and you are allowed to move the golf ball one club length in any direction as long as you are no closer to the hole.  You have to keep the golf ball in the same condition (if you are in the rough, you remain in the rough).  This format is continued until you complete the hole. 
2. Tees:
   Men - White Tees
   Women - Gold Tees
3. Bogey Max.  Please pick up and move to next hole if you have reached bogey for the team scor

Contests
Throughout the event there are several contests you may wish to participate.  They include:  longest drive, closest to the pin, big cup hole(s), plus more.
More information on contests will be provided at event registration on May 2nd.
