The 2025 Knights Classic Golf Tournament is focused on supporting the KCS "Raise The Roof" project, which is a $2,000,000 budget strategy focused on funding the replacement of aging roofs and HVAC systems at Kelowna Christian School's High School and Middle School campuses.
Why This Matters
As a non-profit Christian school, 50% of our funding comes from the government, with the remainder covered by tuition, going toward operating expenses, debt reduction, and maintaining our facilities. While these funds meet our essential costs, they don’t fully support the vision of excellence, growth, and continuous improvement that drives our school. Through fundraising and partnerships, the capital is built that strengthens the school’s financial stability, as well as supports the school’s health, growth, and overall well being of our community.
Kelowna Christian School has the incredible blessing of owning two of its three campuses. Ownership gives KCS the freedom to create spaces that serve students and reflect its mission—but it also comes with the responsibility of maintenance and upgrades. Due to the age of the buildings and the intense Okanagan sun, the roofing and HVAC systems at both campuses have been well-maintained but are nearing the end of their lifespan. While repairs have extended their use, planning for a full replacement is necessary.
