2025 Oliver Open: Kettle Moraine Golf Club   |   Wednesday September 10, 2025

Event Details

Four Person Scramble Format

  1.  All team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best. Mark the spot with a tee or ball marker.
  2. The other team members move their balls to be within 1 club length of the marker (no closer to the hole). Each team member hits their next shot from the chosen spot.
  3. You may not move your ball out of a hazard (including bunkers), out of the rough, from the fairway or rough to the apron or from the apron to the green.
  4. This procedure is repeated for every remaining shot, including putts.
  5. Putts need to be placed within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.
  6. Men tee off from the white tees and women from the gold tees.

Scoring and Contests

  1. The Tournament will be scored using the “Peoria” method of scoring. The Peoria system allows a "handicap allowance" to be determined and then applied to each golfer's score. The tournament committee secretly selects six holes. Two par 3s, two par 4s and two par 5s. Competitors do not know which holes have been selected. Groups tee off and complete their rounds, playing stroke play and scoring in the normal fashion. Following the completion of play, the six Peoria holes are announced. Your handicap is determined by your play on those six secret holes. Please turn scorecards in to the Tournament Director.
  2. Hole-in-One: The first three Par-3's (#3,#7 & #13) are Hole-In-One holes that will be awarded $500. Today's SIGNATURE Hole-in-One contest will take place at Hole #18. if you get a Hole-in-One at this 176 yard par 3, you win $10,000!!! Thanks to our friends at HUB International for this one!!!
  3. Closest to the Pin: If your tee shot is on the green and closest to the Pin/Hole, write your name on the marker card and place the marker in the ground on the spot where your ball came to rest. Once the marker has been placed on the ground, it should stay there until someone else hits a closer shot. Use the flagstick as a measuring rod if it is a close call. Then, that person should repeat the procedure of writing their name on the card below the other name(s) and place the marker at the spot. Today’s “CTP” hole is the Par-3 13th.
  4. Longest Drive: If your drive is in the fairway and the longest, write your name on the marker card and place the marker in the ground on the spot where your ball lays. Once the marker has been placed in the ground, it should stay there until someone else makes a longer drive. Then, that person should repeat the procedure of writing their name on the card below the other name(s) and place the marker at the spot. Today’s Longest Drives hole is the Par-4 9th. Remember, your drive must come to a stop in the fairway!
  5. Best Dressed – Solo: Whether you’re channeling classic golf style, outrageous flair, or something that turns heads and scores laughs, this contest is for you. P.S. If you’re aiming to win, you’ll have to outdo Keith’s American flag pants—he’s the judge, after all. 😉 The reward? Something worth your while. Winners will be announced at dinner alongside the raffles!
  6. Best Dressed – Team: Looking good as a group? Whether it’s coordinated polos, wild costumes, or a full-on team theme, we want to see it! Creativity, coordination, and commitment are key. P.S. Keith’s the judge—so make it bold, make it fun, and maybe throw in a patriotic twist. 🇺🇸 The reward? Definitely worth your while. Winners will be announced at dinner during the raffles!
