Welcome to the Dayton Knights of Columbus "Swing for Charity" Golf Event 2026!

Join us on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the stunning Yankee Trace Golf Course for a day of camaraderie, fun, and purpose. Together, we’ll swing for a great cause, supporting the Ohio Purple Hearts and Knights of Columbus local charities.

In 2025, your generosity helped us donate $5,000 to the Ohio Purple Hearts and another $15K for local Knights of Columbus charities to support scholarships and provide assistance to those most in need within our community. This year, we aim to make an even bigger impact with your help!  With the assistance of DLAK Wealth Advisors, as Title Sponsor, we are off to a great start.

Our 2026 Featured Charity: The Purple Heart Foundation

We are proud to partner with the Purple Heart Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart—a military decoration for those wounded or killed in action.

The foundation's initiatives provide:

• Financial Assistance: Helping with medical expenses, housing, and essential needs.

• Veteran Support Services: Including job training, counseling, and healthcare.

• Advocacy and Awareness: Promoting veterans' rights and influencing impactful policies.

• Education and Scholarships: Offering opportunities for veterans and their families to achieve their goals.

• Community Outreach: Building connections and providing local support to veterans.

• Medical Research: Supporting advancements in treatment and care for wounded veterans.

Springboro’s own Mayor, a proud Purple Heart recipient, serves as a testament to the courage and sacrifices of these heroes.
