The 28th Annual Help Give Hope / Arris Pizza Charity Golf Classic is in the books!

Our annual day of fun, friends, laughs, good food and a worthy cause was held Monday, September 14th, at Twin Oaks Country Club. A full field of 38 three-person teams participated, and Mother Nature was very kind, providing a hot and sunny afternoon for a great day of golf. As always, Twin Oaks was a wonderful host, and we received incredible support from our participants, as well as the dozens of hole and tournament sponsors who helped make the event such a success.

For its first 26 years, the tournament was primarily a day for Help Give Hope to give back to the many people and businesses who so generously support us throughout the year. However, like all nonprofits, Help Give Hope has faced increasing operating costs. To help meet those challenges, we decided to add a fundraising component to the event, including recruiting tournament sponsors and expanding our hole sponsorship opportunities. The result has been a wonderful combination of appreciation and fundraising. While the primary purpose of the Help Give Hope / Arris Pizza Charity Golf Classic will always be to give back to our incredibly loyal constituents, the tournament now also provides Help Give Hope with an important additional fundraising opportunity. And that translates directly into our mission: helping more children and families throughout the year. After all, that is why we exist.
