What It's All About

Over the last 27 years, the Recovery Acres Charity Golf Tournament has raised almost $1,000,000 in support of our substance use disorder treatment and co-occurring programs. It is our largest fundraiser each year and depends solely on the generosity of our donors, alumni, corporate partners, and volunteers. 

Since 1973, over 16,000 men and women have received help for their substance use disorders and mental health difficulties at Recovery Acres (Calgary) Society. 

On January 2, 2022, Recovery Acres (Calgary) Society (RACS) proudly opened our women’s inpatient treatment facility at 1839 – 27 Ave SW. The remodelled space provides residential treatment for eight women in a 42-day program, along with support for day program clients. Even before opening our doors, we had a waiting list of women seeking help — a clear indication of the growing need for accessible, quality addiction treatment in our community. As demand for services continues to rise, RACS remains committed to expanding access to recovery support for individuals and families across Calgary.

Proceeds from our 29th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will support the ongoing operations, programming, and future growth of RACS. Funds raised will help ensure we can continue providing life-saving treatment, maintain our facilities, support our staff and clients, and respond to the evolving needs of those seeking recovery.
