Kasai Japanese Steakhouse in Scottsdale, Arizona is pleased to announce the second annual "Fire & Fairways" Charity Golf Tournament. On Monday, June 5, 2023, 120+ golfers will tee off at the Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club and compete for great prizes while supporting a wonderful local charity. Kasai supports local and national charities throughout the year. With the majority of those being charities with a focus on children's well-being, health, and education. For our second year, we have again selected Arizonans for Children: "Helping Foster Children Since 2002". Our 2022 inaugural tournament raised more than $10,000 for the charity and we look forward to raising even more this year. We want to thank everyone for their amazing support before, during, and after the event!
This year, we have converted two par-4 holes into par-3s in order to offer even more Hole-in-One contests. Some of our prizes this year include: a Two-Year Cadillac lease, a Trip to Rome, Italy for the 2023 Ryder Cup, a Golf Trip to Pebble Beach, $10,000 Cash, iPads, Yeti Coolers, Putters, and much more! .... and there's a putting contest for a chance to win $5,000.
Sign-in for the event will begin at 6:30. The clubhouse bar & kitchen will be open and will have fruit, snacks, breakfast burritos, and more, available for purchase. At approximately 7:30, a Helicopter will drop 500 numbered golf balls over the chipping area – purchase your balls for a chance to win prizes! (Your ball must land in or closet to the hole [3 in or closest to pin will win]). The ball drop will be the official start of the tournament.
There are events taking place at many of the holes: Hole-in-One contests are at holes: 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 18, Ball Launcher at hole 4 (par 4), putting contest for $5,000. (see rules on the Tournament Contests page). Integra Golf will be setting up on a par 3 and giving you an easy chance (land 10', 2', or hole it) to walk away with a putter, iron, wedge, driver, a full iron set, or even a trip to Pebble Beach (or $1,000 cash).
Planned event end-time is 12:30pm at which time players can head to Kasai Scottsdale (14344 North Scottsdale Rd., just south of Acoma / North of Thunderbird). Upon your arrival, you will be treated to a complimentary lunch with drinks, and raffles will be held during the luncheon. **Non-participating guests can purchase luncheon tickets online for $40 or $50 day of event.
