2nd Annual Opus Golf Classic

Funds raised will support the Opus Youth Golf Mentor Program, which targets underserved youth and equips them with access to golf lessons, mentorship, and networking. 

The Opus Youth Golf Mentor Program introduces young participants to golf while fostering personal growth and professional development. Through interactive sessions and hands-on practice, participants learn about the history, rules, and culture of golf, with a focus on three key components:

·        Playing Golf
Youth gain hands-on experience, learning techniques and practicing their swings under professional guidance, building both skill and confidence.

·        Mentoring
Experienced golfers, business owners and professionals offer personalized support to develop leadership, resilience, and a passion for the game, Including exposure to career opportunities.

·        Networking
Participants connect with peers, professionals, and enthusiasts through organized events, opening doors for future opportunities and relationship-building.

The program cultivates essential life skills, career exploration, and camaraderie, creating a supportive community that extends beyond learning golf.

• Academic Achievement: High school golfers have higher GPAs (3.41 vs. 3.17 for non-golfers).
• Life Skills: 73% of participants in The First Tee program report increased confidence and academic success.
