4th Annual Copper Eagle Classic: The Legend at Arrowhead   |   Saturday June 26, 2021

Covid-19 Safety Information

The Omega Delta Phi Alumni Association of Arizona greatly appreciates the support that our golfers have shown us over the years and we hope to continue to host them in years to come. With that, the cancelation of the 2020 Copper Eagle Classic was not taken lightly, nor was the decision to move forward with the 2021 Copper Eagle Classic. We only feel confident moving forward with the tournament after dicussions with The Legend at Arrowhead clubhouse personnel who ensured us that, with proper adjustments and precautions, a tournament could be held and all parties could enjoy an afternoon and be safe to return for the next one!

Adjustments to previous tournaments:

  • Check In: The check in process will be as minimal hands on as possible. We will highly encourage payment through our website or venmo to limit the physical handling of credit or debit cards. Cash will be taken on an as needed basis.
  • Goody Bag: Every player will receive a "goody bag" of 2 disposable masks, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes.
  • Breakfast: Due to the tournament being moved to the afternoon, there will be no breakfast option for players to enjoy while they enjoy the range. We are working with the clubhouse to provide small refreshments that should be individually sealed.
  • Group Lunch: The decision to have a group lunch will be made closer to the tournament. Pending the state of Az and Coronavirus at that time. If we do not have the lunch buffet, a box lunch will be provided and you will be able to enjoy it on the course.
  • Awards and Raffle Prizes: If the group lunch cannot occure, our President, Marcos Enriquez, will be going live through our Instagram page (@Odphi.Azalum87) to present the awards and will contact all the recipients so that winnings can be delivered.
  • Volunteers: All volunteers and hole vendors present that day will have passed a COVID 19 test 3-7 days prior to tournament.

What can the players do to stay safe?

It is recommended that all players have a COVID 19 test completed 3 - 7 days prior to June 26th. This is not a requirement and only a (highly) recommendation. However, if any player is displaying COVID related symptoms or may have been exposed to someone with COVID in the grace period since their test, the Arizona Alumni Association will work with The Legend at Arrowhead to provide a voucher for a free round of golf to be used at a later time. Please send an email to Odphi.Azalum@gmail.com ASAP if this option is needed.

  • ASU Saliva Test General public saliva testing:
    • Free!
    • Multiple locations through the state
    • Results can be returned within 48-72 hours
    • Testing sites require pre-registering, so please follow the steps found on the page
    • Testing scheduling should be completed 7 days prior to target testing date
