Golf for Grunts!

Please join us at 8:30 AM, Saturday, September 21, for the fourth annual Flags for our Fallen golf tournament hosted by Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511 of Monroe.

This is a fun way to engage in some lighthearted competition with your friends and neighbors while supporting Post 7511’s commitment to making life better for veterans and its dedication to community enrichment. All funds raised by this golf tournament help ensure the Post’s continued ability to assist local veterans in need and their families, serve the community, coordinate programs for youth, and conduct legislative advocacy.

Your support helps ensure many vital programs and initiatives, including:

• Annual Voice of Democracy, Patriot’s Pen, and Youth Essay contests

• Annual Teacher of the Year contest 

• The Ward Roney Jr VFW Post 7511 Memorial Scholarship fund for deserving Monroe High School students 

• VFW Public Servant Awards for local first responders 

• Support for the VFW Relief Fund, which aids local veterans and their families in need 

• Support for the VFW National Home for Children   

• Support for the National VFW Veterans and Military Support Program 

• Host Wreaths Across America at the Monroe IOOF Cemetery

The Flags for our Fallen golf tournament takes place just outside of Monroe at the renowned Echo Falls Golf Club, known for its scenic beauty and its challenging, championship course.

Don’t know anything about golf? No problem. In addition to registrants, the Post is seeking business sponsorships to help create a sustainable event. Business sponsors earn logo placement on the golf tournament’s promotional materials and other perks, depending on the sponsorship package selected. The Post has a variety of sponsorship levels to choose from to best accommodate every budget.
