Lonestar Baseball Club South is hosting its largest fundraiser of the year. This year we are heading back to Canyon Springs Golf Club for the 4th Annual Lonestar Showdown on February 10th, 2023. Costs associated with sports nowadays have increased which is why all proceeds from this event are intended to offset costs for the players (i.e., dues, travel and fees) so that every ball player has a chance to succeed. There are a ton of sponsorship categories for the tournament and each transaction is going through the Prospect Prep Academy Foundation, Inc. (501-c3 organization).  This fundraiser affords the opportunity to give back to the community and promote diversity and inclusion.

Prospect Prep Baseball Academy, LLC (“PPBA”) is an elite baseball training and management company whose mission is to facilitate the development of student-athletes through participation in baseball.  In general, we believe that participation in athletics can be an integral part of overall youth development but more specifically, that participation in organized baseball is an ideal, controlled environment where young people can gain exposure to and learn life lessons that will serve them in adulthood.  To achieve our mission, PPBA collaborates with Lonestar Baseball Club South (an affiliate, select baseball organization) and Prospect Prep Academy Foundation, Inc. (a 501-c3 non-profit) to implement and execute PPBA training mandates/protocols that facilitate the development of student-athletes and provide much needed guidance and resources.
