About the Lake Trust Foundation

 

The Lake Trust Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that exists to enhance our core value of Making a Difference. Through partnerships, outreach programs, grants, financial assistance and support for our community’s underserved people, we help to build and sustain stronger communities. Believing that strong neighborhoods can have a global impact, we continuously look for opportunities to support projects that solve problems throughout Michigan and help make our world a better place.

The Lake Trust Foundation provides support and grants to community organizations and leads a robust scholarship program. In 2019, the Foundation, in partnership with the credit union, donated $52,056 to provide 1,600 new winter coats to Michigan children in need. The Foundation has also presented $263,523 in scholarships to students in Michigan since 2013, paving a path for Michigan’s future leaders through educational opportunities. 

Through the support and generosity of our donors, the Lake Trust Foundation can carry out its critical mission. In 2019, more than $90,000 was raised during our Seventh Annual  Golf Outing. These funds help us continue to offer scholarships and grants to organizations in Michigan communities.
