ACG Chicago – General Event Terms & Conditions

By registering  for this event, I hereby agree as follows:

Media Consent

ACG Chicago may make audio, video and/or photographic recordings of  my image and participation in the event and use same in any and all media  for administrative, marketing and promotional purposes;

Use of Registration Information

I understand that my registration information, including name, employer, title and email address will be used by ACG Chicago for event-related administration, communication, and promotional purposes.  If the event is sponsored, the sponsor(s) may also receive my contact information for its own independent use for marketing and promotional purposes and may contact me regarding their goods/services.  

Code of Conduct and Networking Expectations

As an attendee, I will respect common sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property, including following all event venue rules.   I understand that failure to follow these rules may result in revoking, without refund, the right to attend the event in the sole discretion of ACG Chicago.  ACG Chicago is a professional organization committed to fostering a safe and respectful networking environment. Attendees are expected to engage in business-focused, ethical conduct aligned with ACG’s mission. Solicitation outside the intended scope of the event, including aggressive sales tactics, the use of any networking tools to send bulk communications (i.e. sending of multiple commercial emails to an ACG Chicago-supplied networking or email list) or behavior, which ACG Chicago determines, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate may result in disciplinary actions, which may, in ACG’s discretion, include removal from the event, exclusion from future ACG Chicago events and/or revocation of ACG Chicago membership- all without any refund.  

Cancellations and Transfers

Individual Cancellations received in writing to networking@ACGChicago.com by the specified cutoff date for a refund (cutoff dates vary per event and will be posted on the registration page). No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the cutoff date. If you are an ACG member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration. However, if the person attending in your place is not a member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them to the non-member registration rate.

Liability Waiver

By participating in an ACG Chicago event, I voluntarily assume all risks related to my attendance and hereby release ACG Chicago, its officers, employees and board members from and against any claims, liabilities, or damages relating to or arising out my attendance of and/or participation in the event and use of any media derived therefrom.    

Privacy and Data Protection

ACG Chicago is committed to protecting your personal data. By registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree that ACG Chicago will collect, use, and process the information you have provided (including your name, title, company, email address, and any other information you provide) in accordance with applicable data protection laws for the purposes of event registration, communication, administration, and marketing. Your data may be shared with third-party service providers (e.g., event platform providers, payment processors) for purposes related to your participation in the event. If the event includes sponsors, ACG Chicago may also share your basic registration details with such sponsors for networking and business development purposes. Your personal data may also be shared with ACG’s national organization for  its use consistent with its privacy policy.  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing to events@ACGChicago.org by July 11, 2025 will be refunded minus $4 per registered person and 2.9% processing fee. There are no refunds for cancellations received after July 11, 2025. If you are an ACG member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration, however if the person attending in your place is not a member they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them to the non-member rate to attend.

Terms Acknowledgment

These Terms & Conditions are considered accepted upon registration. ACG Chicago reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. A full copy of these terms will be included in or linked to your registration confirmation email and/or available on the event website.
