About the BC Lions Alumni Association
The BCLAA was founded in 1985 by a small group of passionate alumni and our membership has continued to grow. We host social and volunteer events for all alumni to keep connected, critical for well-being, as regular, meaningful interaction directly combats feelings of loneliness and social isolation, boosts mental and physical health, and provides a sense of belonging and purpose.
We also proudly host the BC Lions Alumni Golf Tournament each summer in support of the BC Lions Alumni Development Fund. The charitable funds are used to offer comradery and support to former players or families in need, to promote worthwhile causes in British Columbia, and to assist in the development of BC amateur football.
