According to research by the University of Texas, there are an estimated 79,000 children in the state of Texas being sold for sex. In Dallas alone, the Department of Justice estimates the illegal sex trade to be a $99 million enterprise. 

But you can make a difference. Launched in 2017 with the support of Bent Tree Bible Church, POETIC provides trauma therapy, art therapy and court advocacy for youth victims of sex trafficking in the Dallas community. Located in the heart of downtown Dallas, POETIC's Trauma Therapy Center delivers specialized services to youth and their parents at absolutely no cost.
