Shortly after graduating from High School in 2007, four Regis Jesuit grads took to the neighborhood of Bonnie Brae for a round of yard golf.  with goofy outfits and some wiffle balls, a tradition was born.  For five years to follow, the Bonnie Brae Classic grew from four friends o more than thirty and elevated from yard golf to a par 3 down the road.  A tradition intended to bring a high school group, their families and friends together became much more.  In 2008, our dear friend, Jimmy McGann, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. In 2009, Jimmy lost his battle with cancer.  His legacy lives in all the lives he touched, and this golf tournament moved to honor Jimmy’s wonderful life.  After a hiatus for graduations, weddings and newborns, the Bonnie Brae Classic is back and better than ever.  In 2022 we took a big step and officially made The Bonnie Brae Classic Foundation a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, fully intending to use our time together to have a great day and to raise money for causes that have closely touched our lives.

Please join us for a day of golf, beer and fun at Red Hawk Ridge Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado.  Proceeds from this event will go directly to the Jimmy McGann Memorial Scholarship at Gonzaga University.  We are happy to announce that in addition to Jimmy’s Scholarship The Foundation will be sharing the proceeds annually with The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration in honor of Mike Fenoglio, Zach’s father.  Like Jimmy, Mike was a man with great love for family, inspirational in his battle and had an incredible ability to enjoy every moment.

Through the Bonnie Brae Classic Foundation, it is our desire and commitment to make Jimmy and Mike proud and to continue the legacies of these two extraordinary men.
