Sponsorship Opportunities

The National Center for Education Statistics1 (NCES) estimates that the average cost of attending a four-year public institution is more than $23,000 per year, and is expected to rise an average of 30% each year.  Additionally, 60 percent of all Purdue minority students rely on scholarship funds to supplement these higher education costs and without them, college may not become a reality. 

Realizing these trends almost 50 years ago, the Business Opportunity Program (BOP) was created to increase minority student enrollment in Purdue’s Krannert School of Business. Led by visionary Dr. Cornell Bell for more than 36 years, and now by Darren Henry, BOP has recruited, nurtured and graduated thousands of students who are now successful business leaders, entrepreneurs and captains of industry worldwide.

Our goal is to provide tuition scholarships for students enrolling in Business Opportunity Program for the 2018-2019 school year, and we would appreciate your support of our first annual BOP Alumni Network*   Golf Outing, to be held during Purdue’s Homecoming Weekend, Saturday, September 23, 2017. Corporate sponsorships are needed to support this event, and are available at the following levels:

Silver ($500)              
Includes:

• One Corporate Logo flag/banner on one of eighteen golf holes.
• Distribution of other corporate paraphernalia deemed relevant for enhancing corporate image at the golf tournament (logo balls, logo shirts, etc.) 
• One-on-One access to BOP collegians at varying levels of degree accomplishments.  Recognition at closing ceremony

Gold ($1,000)                 
Includes : Benefits from Silver Plus

• Corporate Logo flag/banner on at least nine of eighteen golf holes (# of holes (1-9) corporate choice).
• A dedicated BOP collegian to be the Corporate Ambassador assisting/facilitating the Corporate Sponsor with his/her arrival, on-campus experience, assistance with golf tournament - corporate sponsor activities, post- tournament activities and departure.

Platinum ($2,000)     
Includes: Benefits from Silver and Gold Plus

• VIP round table meeting with BOP Class of 2018, BOP 2014/15 seniors, MBA-PhD candidates.
• VIP introductions to Krannert School of Business Dean and Staff,  BOP Alumni Network Board of Directors, and exclusive corporate access to the BOP Alumni Executive/Career database.
