About Us:
Our mission is to end discrimination against individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics Texas provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Since 2005, the Coca-Cola Classic Charity Golf Tournament Presented by PCSI has raised over $2 million to support Special Olympics Texas athletes in the Greater Houston area and help strengthen our communities and improve the lives of those with intellectual disabilities.
This year, as we emerge from a very challenging year, we want to honor and recognize the folks who helped us all get here: our Front-line Workers, Law Enforcement, Military and First Responders. In other words, the true heroes of our communities. So, join us at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course as we pay tribute to members of our Military, our Front-line Workers, First Responders and Law Enforcement Community. All in support of the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Texas. Each foursome will be teamed with a community hero! Please join us for:
Join us on the links to compete, network — and do so much good for so many people in need. Join our athletes as they continue to fight battles every day against bullying and discrimination. We truly appreciate your support.
SOTX has a powerful impact on our community at large and funds raised can help make the dreams of our athletes, as well as their family and friends come true. The positive benefits of your support reach far beyond the day of an event - changing the lives and perceptions of your employees, your company and your community.
Your involvement in the Coca-Cola Golf Classic presented by PCSI supports year-round sports training and competition for over 10,000 children and adults with intellectual dis-abilities in the Greater Houston area. Together we promote dignity, equality and opportunity for all people. Special Olympics Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
