===================================================Tournament Rules============================================================

The CVC Golf Tournament is 2-day tournament. The tournament guidelines are listed below:

Registration:

1. You will need to provide your “Handicap Score” while registering yourself for the tournament.
2. Based on your Handicap, we will be pairing you with another player who shares an equivalent Handicap

Day 1: 

1. This game will be individual Stroke play. 
2. You will be writing your score as well as your opponent’s score for each hole.
3.  At the end of the round, you will be submitting your score cards to the committee and the scores will be matched and verified.

Day 2: 

1. This day we will be using a Flight system.
2. All Players will be matched and divided into 4 groups depending on the results from the Day 1 scores.
3. You will also be paired with an opponent of the same level and the scoring will handled the same way as explained above. (your opponent from Day 1 will mostly likely not be the same for Day 2)

There will be 3 Trophies awarded for each flight.  

1. The Winning Scores for each flight will be determined by combining the scores from Day 1 and Day 2. The 3 lowest scores in each Flight will receive trophies for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place.

How Flight system works:

1. To keep this fair, we won’t know what scores will be used to break up the Flights until we have all scores in. We will verify the lowest score and highest score and use that for our basis to divide the 4 groups equally.  Below is an example and how that could look.
2. The scores shown are just for EXAMPLE purposes only:
    

Flight A – consists of players with Day 1 scores between 69 and 78

Flight B– consists of players with Day 1 scores between 79 and 87

Flight C– consists of players with Day 1 scores between 88 and 94

Flight D– consists of players with Day 1 scores of 95 and above

SPECIAL NOTE- Anytime during the tournament, if you deciced to change your partner or Cart without committe's approval, your Score will no longer be valid.
