2025 Dairy Farmers of Manitoba

Dairy Farmers of Manitoba (DFM)'s charity golf tournament is an excellent opportunity to network with dairy farmers and other industry representatives.

• This is a fun, non-competitive tournament for any level of golfer. No golfing experience is required.
• Each team plays two of the three nines (Quarry, Oak, and Desert).
• The tournament is a Texas Scramble format.

Beneficiaries

DFM's charity golf tournament fundraises for:

• Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, and
• Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Bursary fund at the University of Manitoba.

The Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba (CHFM) is dedicated to ensuring that every child treated at the Children's Hospital (HSC Winnipeg) receives the best medical care possible. CHFM raises and distributes funds for advancing knowledge and care in child health research.

The University of Manitoba (UM) Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Bursary is offered to an undergraduate student in the School of Agriculture or Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences with demonstrated financial need.

Of the total net proceeds raised each year, $5,000 is donated to the UM Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Bursary fund, and the difference to the CHFM.

Fundraising Stats

• In 2024, there were 57 teams registered (228 golfers) and $43,930 was raised.

• Since 1997, DFM has raised approximately $695,800 for pediatric research and dairy science education.
