Warning Signs Of Domestic Abuse

People try to cover up the fact that they are a victim of domestic violence for a variety of reasons. Learning the warning signs can help you help them. Some of the warning signs are:

•Black eyes
•Bruises
•Red or purple marks on the neck
•Busted lips
•Sprained wrists
•Fearful
•Anxious or on edge
•Changes in sleeping or eating patterns
•Loss of interest in once enjoyed activities and hobbies
•Substance abuse
•Becoming withdrawn or distant
•Excessive privacy concerning their personal life
•Isolating themselves from friends and family
•Does not have access to any household money
