Welcome to The 7th Annual Eric C. Sherman Memorial Golf Tournament

The Eric C. Sherman Annual Memorial Golf tournament was founded to honor one of Toledo’s amazing percussionist’s legacies for his love of music. In January of 2014, 29-year-old Eric Christopher Sherman passed away suddenly due to a misdiagnosed medical condition. Eric was a fun-loving, hard-working father and husband. Eric’s exceptional positive influence in the community was experienced by many, and we would like to keep that going... 

Since Eric was fond of music and was an amazing drummer, it just seemed appropriate to establish this scholarship fund in University of Toledo’s College of Music. Proceeds from the golf tournament are deposited to a scholarship fund established in his name – “The Eric C. Sherman Scholarship Fund.” I'm sure some may be asking, "What if I don't play golf?", which is a great question. We also offer the option to Sponsor-a-Hole or make a donation. All Scholarship Fund donations are tax deductible.

For the past 6 years,  We have been successful in attracting golfers of all skill levels to participate in this worthy event. We welcome all who wish to participate in what we feel is one of the best ways to honor such a wonder soul.
