First Nations Health Foundation Charity Golf Classic: Northview Golf & Country Club   |   Friday June 19, 2026

Things You Need to Know

TOURNAMENT INFO

As the first and only foundation of its kind, the First Nations Health Foundation (FNHF) is a bold model of philanthropy and partnership that bridges funding and knowledge gaps to accelerate equitable and culturally safe healthcare for First Nations in BC. Together with communities, the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), and our supporters, we are building a lasting legacy of wellness for today and for the next seven generations of BC First Nations communities, youth, and families.

On June 19, 2026, golfers will take part in the First Nations Health Foundation Charity Golf Classic, embarking on a meaningful journey across an Arnold Palmer Signature Course. Beyond a day on the course, we have curated an inspiring and eye-opening experience—rooted in respect, relationship-building, and spirited competition.

Driving Range: The Driving Range will be open! Guests do not need to purchase balls at the Pro Shop; balls will be provided at the Driving Range.

SCORING & GAME FORMAT:

Scoring: Scoring will be done via the Northview Golf & Country Club App. Please download on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in advance to make for a seamless scoring experience. Paper Scorecards will be provided in each golf cart for your convenience, if needed.

Game Format: We will be playing Shared Path Scramble style—similar to a Texas Scramble. All team members will tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or ball marker. Men will hit off the white tees and ladies will hit off the red tees. The main difference between a Shared Path Scramble and a classic Texas Scramble is that the team must choose a minimum of three drives per player to play during the tournament. To keep play moving, each hole has a maximum score of 8. Once you reach 8 strokes, please pick up and proceed to the next hole.

Pace of Play: A reminder to please keep a consistent pace of play throughout the tournament. Keeping a good pace of play is important to ensure everyone has an enjoyable day. Please keep up with the group ahead of you and be ready to hit when it’s your turn. If your group falls behind or a hole becomes challenging, use your best judgment to move things along. Recording scores at the next tee box can also help keep play moving smoothly.
