Fourth Annual Hope Mommies Golf Classic

About Hope Mommies 

Blair and Erin Cushman were expecting their firstborn child in October 2010. What they could never have expected was that their precious daughter Gwendolyn would go home to the Lord only 36 hours after a traumatic birth, passing away from complications that occurred during labor. There were only a handful of Christian resources and support easily available for grieving parents, but thousands of parents silently suffering as they were. The need for hope-filled, gospel infused, Biblical community was clear. The Cushmans founded Hope Mommies in March 2011 to come alongside grieving parents, using social media platforms to connect and serve these women and families. Hope Mommies expanded into Retreats, Box Ministry, Chapters, and Hope Groups. Hope Mommies has published two books and four Bible studies and has a thriving online community that daily serves women with the hope of the gospel and the comfort of an empathetic community.

Through this golf tournament, we aim to raise $40,000! This funding will allow us to create 200 Hope Boxes that will be placed in the hands of grieving mothers nationwide, it will also cover the cost of 30 scholarships to our annual Retreat, and the remaining $10,000 would be used to help families in need of financial assistance by paying a portion of the medical bills incurred from their baby's death. By playing one round of golf you will be helping us bring hope to over 250 families.
