American Brain Tumor Association

The American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) was founded in 1973 and is the nation's oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to brain tumor education, support and research.  In Fall 2015 Daphne was diagnoised with a brain tumor and began treatment soon there after. 

Friends and family began participating in the ABTA Tampa Bay BT5K in the Spring of 2016, as a way to support Daphne during her brain tumor journey.  2020 will mark the 4th year that team Happy Faces Full of Sunshine has participated in this event.

In 2019, team Happy Faces Full of Sunshine was number 8 on the top 10 teams participating in the Tampa Bay BT5K.  Our goal for 2020 is for team Happy Faces Full of Sunshine to be in the top 5.  Your participation in the "Friends of Daphne" Charity Golf Tournament will go a long way to meeing that goal.
