Golfing for Guardians

Join the DC Chapter of the Space Force Association for the first Golfing for Guardians Tournament on Monday, October 3 2022 at Fort Belvoir - confirmed to happen despite the weekend rain in DC.

The event begins with a shotgun start at 0900 and concludes with a catered lunch and awards ceremony at the clubhouse.

Military: All those with Military ID’s, you may use any Ft Belvoir gate to access the base.

 Civilian: Please pay special attention to getting on the base.  Installation visitors may encounter delays at the Visitor Center. Please plan accordingly.  To receive your gate access pass, members must visit Tulley Gate (9500 Pohick Rd, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060) or acquire a visitor's pass online. For more information, you may call the Visitor Center at +1 (703)806-4892.  It is relatively easy to pop into the visitor’s center.  It will quicken the process if you fill out the attached form and bring 2 forms of ID with you.  First form of ID is Driver’s License and secondary is a passport, birth certificate or social security card.  If you do not have a secondary ID, you will not receive a pass.  It is a relatively easy process if you can arrive a little early, fill out the attached Unsponsored form and bring it with you with your 2 forms of ID.

Dress Code:

The following rules for dress apply for the golf course, driving range, practice area and clubhouse:

(A.) Shirts with collars for men. (B.) Appropriate shirts for women (Collarless shirts must have logo or tasteful print) (C.) Any halters or shirts that expose the midriff are prohibited. (D.) Shorts for golf or walking are permitted. Bathing suits, PT clothing, softball shorts and short shorts are prohibited. Wearing any part of the military uniform is prohibited on the course. Soft Spikes - Shoes must be worn and must be of the golf or tennis variety. They may not have unusual soles or heels. No metal spikes, metal posted soft spikes or ceramic posted spikes will be allowed.
