Gowan Health - NANCY'S RETIREMENT EVENT

After over 37 years working with employers and employees for their health and employability, I have decided to retire. To honour the many years of support that my friends, family and colleagues have given me, I wanted to do something different to give back to the community. After deliberation it was decided that we would support a Golf Tournament on September 29, 2023 at Pine Knot golf club in Dorchester, Ontario. This will allow us to come together to socialize, support each other and have fun, but also raise funds to support Women’s Mental Health and Occupational Therapy. 

 

We would like to welcome you to support this initiative in one or more ways.

1. Sponsorship of the tournament (see the sponsorship form for details) to highlight your support and ensure that those that attend see your support front and center.
2. Donate a gift basket or prize for the raffle table.
3. Donate a silent auction prize.  Check out the GALLERY for the silent auction items.  Get ready to BID! 
4. Donate directly for the fund (receive a tax receipt for over $20).
5. Join us by bringing your golf team to the tournament  ($175 per player – tax receipt for $30 included) – sign up through event caddy  - It's a SCRAMBLE so bring your best team! 
6. Join us at the party! (Tickets for the party only are limited but will be available for $65 per ticket – includes $20 tax receipt)

 

How will your donation be used?  We will be providing all funds raised to two separate causes:

1. A yearly scholarship for an applicant with indigenous heritage to any Occupational Therapy Masters Program in Canada managed through COTF (Registration no.: 118834795 RR 0001)

2. Support of Women’s Mental Health through CAMH donation to womenmind (Charitable Registration No.: 10693 2320 RR0001)

Occupational Therapy Scholarship - Gowan Health is working with the Canadian Occupational Therapy Foundation to set up a scholarship for the next ten years to support an applicant to any Occupational Therapy Program in Canada.
