We are thrilled to announce that last years Gracie Cup 2024 successfully raised $27,000 for Abel Speaks which will go towards helping 11 families who will recieve a life limiting diagnosis for their unborn child over the course of this year. We also raised $2,000 for Samaritan's Purse through the Gracie Cup Shop on the day of the event to help with Hurricane Helene relief in Western NC. We are so thankful for the generosity of this wonderful community!

OUR STORY:

The Gracie Peterson Foundation is hosting is third Gracie Cup golf tournament in memory of Gracie's short, but incredibly impactful life. Gracie was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a genetic abnormality considered to be life limiting, while she was still in the womb. She was born at 37 weeks on November 1st, 2022 and was surrounded by her entire family for the four brief hours that she lived. While Gracie is no longer here with us on earth, her spirit lives through those who have been forever touched by her story. 

During Gracie's time with us, her parents, Daniel & Jess Peterson, were supported by Abel Speaks. They were able to find a community of other families who know the depths of what it means to have carried a child with a life limiting diagnosis and felt the comfort of knowing they weren't alone during this devastating season. The Gracie Peterson Foundation is partnering with Abel Speaks to raise money to support other families, like the Petersons, who have received devastating news about the child they are carrying. With your involvement we can help these families find a little bit of joy in the midst of their sorrow.
