Harboring Hearts is proud to announce that our 4th Annual Golf Outing at Sebonack Golf Club was a resounding success! On September 24th, 2024, we welcomed 74 golfers to Southampton, New York for a day on the green in support of cardiac surgery and transplant patients and their families.

Hosting nearly 100 attendees at our Cocktail Reception, we raised over $450,000! This incredible sum will help hundreds of patients and families across New York City, Westchester, and Long Island focus on healing rather than mounting bills.

Our dedicated staff, volunteers, donors, and Board of Directors made this event one for the books. Brought together by our desire to give hope to hearts everywhere, we were able to exceed our fundraising goal at our best golf outing to date!

We extend a huge thank you to our more than 40 longstanding sponsors such as: The Javian Foundation, Melkonian Capital, Corzo Construction Inc., BridgeBio Inc., Northwell Health Hospital, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian – Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, NYU Langone Health, and Westchester Medical Center - to name a few.

Through the generosity of Jaguar Land Rover of Southampton, one of our lucky and talented golfers, John Bellando IV, won a 2024 Land Rover Defender 110 S P300 via a perfect Hole in One on Sebonack’s Hole #4. In addition to this accomplishment one on the Par 3, John also won a $10,000 cash prize. Congratulations to John, his team, and his caddies, Delroy and Evance.

Thank you to our 2024 Planning Committee spearheaded by George Javian, James Lema, Rob Satran, and Ryan Melkonian as well as our dedicated staff and volunteers for making the success of this event possible!

Founded by Yuki and Michelle in 2009, Harboring Hearts has helped nearly 3,000 patients and families with emotional and financial support - taking on their food, transportation, or housing bills so patients can give their complete attention to getting better and caregivers can direct their focus on caring for their loved one.

With a cardiac surgery or transplant procedure comes many unexpected costs that can really put pressure on families, and that is why we are here - to help shoulder some of that burden.
