Scramble Format Rules

 Four-person scramble - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. 

If you think you’re in the running, turn in your score cards at the Pro Shop.

 

• SCRAMBLE:  A scramble means that all four team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best.
• The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the chosen tee shot. 
• This procedure is followed on every shot, including putts.  The ball should be marked on the putting green.
• Putts need to be made within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole).  The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.
• If the ball you choose to play is within a hazard, rough, or out of bounds, you cannot drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough, even if relief is within one club length away.
• Men tee off from white tees; women tee off from forward tees.
• Score no worse than a double bogey can be recorded.  If your group is already at a double bogey, please pick up and move on to the next hole.
• If there are less than 4 players, the players must rotate the fourth shot within the group.
• Observe proper golf etiquette at all times.  Avoid slow play and keep up with the group ahead.
• Turn in your completed scorecard to the Pro Shop after your round.  MAKE SURE TO ADD UP YOUR TEAM SCORE!

Etiquette:

• Smooth all marks made in bunkers.
• Leave the putting green as soon as you have holed out.
• Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range.
• Balls may be cleaned on the green and ball marks repaired prior to putting.  You may not repair spike marks prior to putting.
• Observe all local course rules.
• All players must wear spike-less shoes, golf-type slacks/shorts and collared shirts.

Hole-in-One:

• $25,000 cash prize for any golfer who makes a hole-in-one   on the 3rd hole during the tournament. 
• Additional prizes for any golfer who makes a hole-in-one on the 8th and 16th holes.  ** Hole in One winner on #8 cannot also win closest to the pin.

 

Closest to the Pin:

• This contest will be held on the 8th hole.  The ball must come to rest on the green to qualify.  Put your name on the marker and move it to your ball location if you beat the existing mark.

 

Longest Drive:

• On the 14th hole, the ball farthest from the tee and in the fairway will be the winner.  Put your name on the marker and move it to your ball location if you beat the existing mark.
