Welcome, to the 2023 Jason Schneider Memorial "Salute to a Hero" Golf Tournament! This year's event commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Line of Duty Death of Baltimore County Police Officer Jason Schneider. Jason was a loving husband, father and son. He was a decorated United States Marine, having served in Kosovo. He is remembered as an honorable man, soldier and police officer by everyone who knew him.

Jason was taken from us on August 28, 2013 during the service of a search warrant in Catonsville, MD. Jason was a member of the Baltimore County PD SWAT Team. He was devoted to the team, well liked by his teammates and trusted to perform his duties in an exceptionally profesional manner.

The Innaugural Jason Schneider Memorial Golf Tournament was held in May, 2014 at Hayfields Country Club in Hunt Valley, MD. After five years, the tournament moved to Hillendale Country Club in Phoenix, MD. In its fifth year at Hillendale CC, the tournament has enjoyed success in all ten years, successfully raising money for the foundation as well as bringing attention to the challenges faced by surviving family members of Maryland's fallen heroes. This year's event features Bill Kraus, co-founder of Mission BBQ, as a special guest speaker. The tournament rountinely plays host to local T.V. personalities, atheletes and politicians.
