As the father of three boys, Jim Lerner was their first coach, nurturing their love for sports from tee ball to hockey, soccer, basketball and beyond. His unwavering dedication to his sons’ athletic pursuits continued until his sudden passing in the fall of 2023.

In honor of Jim’s legacy, his family has partnered with the Play Ball Foundation, an organization committed to providing middle schoolers in underserved communities access to youth sports. Just as Jim provided his sons with opportunities to grow through sports, Play Ball aims to advance the growth and development of student athletes.
