GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Joshua Lee Warren Foundation would like to invite you to be part of the Joshua Lee Warren Foundation Memorial Golf Tournament. On June 16, 2016, Lincoln County firefighter Joshua Warren, at the age of 34, fell ill while on-duty with the Alexis Fire Department and collapsed during physical fitness training at the East Lincoln Middle School. Joshua Warren was rushed to CHS-Lincoln Medical Center where he later succumbed to his heart condition. Joshua Warren worked as a part-time paid employee and volunteer for the East Lincoln Fire Department, part-time paid employee at Alexis Fire Department, and Lucia-Riverbend Fire Department. Joshua Warren was an active member of the East Lincoln Fire Department beginning in 2013. As a way to honor Josh Warren’s memory, the Joshua Lee Warren Foundation, a nonprofit organization, was established. All proceeds from the events of the day go towards:

• purchasing critical on-the-scene safety and rescue equipment
• replacing obsolete equipment to enhance department functionality
• providing funding for training equipment and props that can be shared on a regional level

to provide funding to local Fire Departments, which
will provide assistance with obtaining necessary items,
not provided by any other funding, such as state or
local.” 501(c)(3)
