Kaitlyn Carson Memorial Foundation 2025

Kaitlyn L. Carson, 31, of Catasauqua, passed away on April 24, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Ryan Carson and mother of Theodore "Teddy" Carson. Kaitlyn worked as a German teacher for Nazareth Area Middle School, in Upper Nazareth, PA from 2013 to 2020 and as a Technology Specialist from 2020-2021. She received a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education and German from the University of Scranton and a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Kutztown. While at the University of Scranton, Kaitlyn earned the distinct honor of being a Fulbright Scholar. This allowed Kaitlyn to live and teach English in Aachen, Germany. Kaitlyn enjoyed reading, painting, traveling and most of all, spending time with her husband and son Teddy and of course their pets. 

Kaitlyn Carson Memorial Foundation was created to honor and continue the legacy of this courageous woman. Anyone who had the honor to get to know Kaitlyn knows that she had a fierce passion for teaching and reading. The Kaitlyn Carson Memorial Foundation found no better way to honor her than to create a scholarship in her name. The KCMF scholarship will be made available to one Nazareth Area High School graduate who is interested in pursuing a degree in education.

With your support of our events and foundation, we are able to continue the legacy of Kaitlyn and help high school students follow their dreams.  With the help of our sponsors, donors, and golfers, the Kaitlyn Carson Memorial Foundation has awarded $10,000 in scholorships in Kaitlyn's honor.
