Birdies for Charities

2018 Golf Tournament

Silverhorn Golf Course

Sunday, December 9, 2018

BIRDIES FOR CHARITY®  is a fundraising program designed in 1997, to give participating charities and schools the opportunity to generate contributions through the Valero Texas Open. Birdies for Charity is a no-cost program that gives 100% of the funds raised back to the participating organization. Funds are generated by soliciting donations from individuals and corporations. The Valero Texas Open, through its tournament proceeds, also provides other incentives including a 7% match to the collected funds raised by the participating charities. The Birdies for Charity fundraising program spans nearly six months leading up to the Valero Texas Open each year and in 2018 raised over $4 million.

Kids On Course Golf Academy is a non-profit 501©3 organization that provides golf instruction and life skills training to children ages 2-14.  We are an organization wholly committed to the success of our students. We use the wonderful game of golf to reinforce the cornerstones of a healthy lifestyle, character, discipline and perseverance. We’ve designed our programs to teach students to move, to dream and not only to hope to succeed but to expect to succeed by achieving their goals and accomplishing their objectives.
