Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support is 501(c) located in the northern Miami Valley of Ohio. We work with active duty military, national guard, veterans, their caregivers, and families nationwide, connecting them with resources they have earned as a result of their service to our country. We work one on one with veterans, their caregivers, and their families to ensure that every veteran, regardless of when they served, or their discharge status, is treated with dignity and honor. While we are not affiliated with the Veterans Administration or county level Veteran Service Offices, we work closely with them to improve the lives of veterans in our area.

What Do We Do?

We work hard to provide a sense of community for the veteran families we serve. To do that, we host over 30 events a year, all free of charge to military members, veterans, and their families.

• Muster & Mingle - twice monthly events that bring veterans and their families together to eat a meal & socialize. We bring in a variety of speakers, provide a free meal, and encourage the veterans that attend to connect with those who understand them like no one else could.
• Easter Bunny Breakfast & Egg Hunt in partnership with VFW Post 4874 Auxiliary, held 2 weeks before Easter
• Military and Veteran Kids Fishing Derby at Stillwater Prarie Reserve in June 
• School Supply and Snow Cone Giveaway at WACO Air Museum in Troy, OH, held the first Saturday in August
• Santa’s Sweet Shop where families are invited to come and enjoy delicious treats, crafts, and spend time with Santa and with other veteran families.

We also operate a weekly Need Based food pantry for veterans and military families. We 'shop' the pantry with them, reminding them that they are not alone, sharing recipe ideas and encouragement.
