Power on the Green Scholarship Fundraiser

The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) – Houston Chapter is committed to advancing equity and opportunity across the energy sector in one of the nation’s leading energy capitals. Through education, advocacy, mentorship, professional development, and community engagement, AABE Houston supports the development of diverse talent and inclusive leadership for the future of energy.

Throughout the year, our chapter connects students, emerging professionals, and industry leaders through networking events, leadership programs, STEM outreach, career development initiatives, and volunteer service. These efforts create meaningful pathways into the energy industry while strengthening the communities we serve.

This scholarship fundraiser plays a vital role in that mission—providing financial support to local students pursuing careers in energy-related fields. The Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course; it is an opportunity for companies, community partners, and individuals to invest in the future of Houston’s energy workforce. Every sponsorship, registration, raffle ticket, and donation helps remove financial barriers for deserving students and expands access to educational and professional opportunities.

By supporting this event, you are helping cultivate the next generation of engineers, scientists, technicians, analysts, business professionals, and energy leaders who will drive innovation and shape the future of our industry. Together, we are creating opportunities, changing lives, and building a stronger, more inclusive energy community for generations to come.
